Objetivos

The aims of this Learning Object are:

  • To describe basic properties of discrete-time systems.
  • To know basic notations of modelling using the Z-transform.
  • To know the structure and elements of a digital control systems.
  • To understand how a control law can be programmed in a digital controller. 

Conocimiento previo necesario

It is recommended that the student have basic previous knowledge on:

  • Continuous linear systems theory, modellling and analysis.
  • Basic skills in the use of Octave.
